Encinitas Union School District is seeking a Long Term Substitute Social Emotional Learning - TRAC Teacher (Teamwork, Regulation, Awareness, Community) teacher at El Camino Creek Elementary School to cover a Leave of Absence. The length of the assignment is tentatively August 2026 through January 2027. TRAC Teachers are dedicated Social Emotional Learning (SEL) educators who support K-6 Grade students in developing self-awareness, emotional regulation, communication, and problem-solving skills. In this role, you will lead weekly classroom SEL lessons, facilitate small group interventions, and organize schoolwide community-building activities that foster belonging and well-being. This is a unique opportunity to positively influence school climate and promote a culture of care and connection for all students and staff. Applicant must have a valid California Multiple Subject Credential with EL Authorization. The pay is $200 per day increasing to $215 per day from day 16 of the assignment. EUSD is located in North San Diego County along the coast. It serves nine (9) Kindergarten through sixth grade schools, and one (1) pre-school for students with special needs.
