Sparrow Academy Job Description for Teacher Assistant / Aide / Paraprofessional / School Aftercare Work Days: 186 Work Hours: 6-8 hours daily, typically 8:30-3:00 or 8:30-5, depending on the needs of the school. Please include all relevant documents, including but not limited to: -letters of recommendation -proof of education -proof of experience -TB test results Upon hire, the candidate will be responsible for completing finger printing and a background check at their own expense. We will provide the form and locations to complete this. It usually costs about $50-80. This school must also receive satisfactory responses from your previous employers, which fulfills the requirement of AB 2534.
