Job Summary

The Personnel Commission announces an OPEN and PROMOTIONAL recruitment. This recruitment will result in the establishment of one integrated eligibility list. Promotional candidates will have seniority points added to final passing scores (.25 of a point for every year of classified service up to a maximum of 5 points). This list will be used to fill current and future vacancies and will be active for one year or until cancelled. There is currently ONE position open at Pablo Tac School of the Arts. This is an 8 hour/day, 12 month position. Under direction of an assigned administrator, provide, facilitate, implement, and coordinate community partnerships, programs, and services; collaborate with site administrators to ensure that parents, students, and the community have access to District programs; collect, analyze, monitor and leverage relevant data and other resources to ensure alignment, expansion, and improvement of services; and organize, staff, and oversee community representative committees to identify priorities and goals.

Requirements / Qualifications

The person we are seeking is a high-energy level individual who can bring proven managerial techniques and professional experience to the district. Graduation with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four year college or university with a degree in social science, social work, education, school counseling, or related field is required. Master’s degree in one of these fields is desirable. AND Five years of professional experience working in one or more major student/family support areas including academic support, mental health, after-school, youth development, family support, or leadership development. Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred.
