Job Summary

Definition Serves under the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent of Instruction as the chief executive officer of the elementary school assigned with total responsibility to provide leadership for the instruction program. Manages all affairs of the school within district policy and procedures, and supervises all Certificated and Classified employees assigned to serve in the school. Examples of Duties Serve as the instructional leader for assigned elementary school education programs. Establish and maintain a positive and effective learning climate. Select, train, supervise, and evaluate assigned staff. Develop school plans and organizational procedures for the health, safety, conduct, and discipline of students. Construct and implement a master schedule that provides effective utilization of staff personnel for beneficial advancement of student needs. Maintain and use data to improve learning. Develop and maintain active relationships with students and parents, to promote engagement. Plan, supervise, and direct the business operation of the school, including development of budget and oversee all management funds and facilities. Establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, student, parents and the general public Attend assigned Administrative meetings and serve as assigned on District-wide committees. Serve as a district officer in communication between District administration and staff. Perform other duties as assigned.

Three (3) Letters of Recommendation signed within the last 6 months with at least one from an immediate supervising administrator (more than one supervisor is recommended) 5. Copies of Transcripts 6.
