Job Summary
The Assistant Director of Curriculum and Instruction serves as a key educational leader responsible for supporting the development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the charter school's TK–12 instructional program. Working collaboratively with school administrators, teachers, and support staff, the Assistant Director promotes high-quality teaching and learning through curriculum alignment, instructional coaching, professional development, assessment systems, and data-driven decision-making. The Assistant Director helps ensure that curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices align with California State Standards, applicable state and federal requirements, and the charter school's mission and vision. This position supports the implementation of instructional initiatives designed to improve student achievement, close opportunity gaps, and ensure equitable outcomes for all students.
