Job Summary
Under the direction of the Superintendent/Designee, conducts assessments of all students referred for special education consideration and interprets results to parents, teachers, and administrators. Conducts assessments for referred students who may not qualify for special education services but are in need of assistance. Provides direct guidance and assistance to children with learning, behavioral and adjustment problems. **PLEASE NOTE this position is contingent upon funding and itinerant.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE •Master’s degree in school psychology or related field and school psychologist experience, which includes assessing and working with special needs students. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS •Valid California driver’s license. •Valid California Credential authorizing services in School Psychology. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: Certification (Transcripts) Letter of Introduction Letter(s) of Recommendation (Minimum of three letters signed and dated within the last year) Resume Pupil Personnel Services Credential - School Psychology
