Job Summary
Under the direction of the Special Education Coordinator, the Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP) applies scientific principles of learning and behavior to restructure school-related problems and to facilitate learning and development of special needs children being educated by Gorman Learning Center. The LEP provides services to principals, teachers, parents, and students which include individual diagnostic assessments, including Functional Behavioral Assessments and Functional Analysis Assessments, conferences, consultation and IEPs, and referral to other agencies as appropriate. Requirements / Qualifications
• MA in Educational Psychology • Possession of a valid Pupil Personnel Services Credential or Basic Pupil • Personnel Services Credential. • Possession of a valid California License to practice Educational Psychology • Valid California Driver's License. • Three years' experience in related field. • CPR/First Aid Certification (Must meet the standards of the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross and include adult, child, and infant CPR and AED) • Letter of Introduction (1) • Resume (1) • Credentialed Copy • Letters of Recommendation (3) (letters must be dated within the last two years)
