Called on an as needed basis when the regular teacher is out for the day or half a day.
Requirements / Qualifications
Requirements: Must hold a valid Single Subject Credential posted on the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) website; all other applicants will be screened out. Applicants with other permits or credentials may apply for the K–12 Substitute Teacher position. Complete the online application and attach a copy of your credential.
A copy or screenshot of your valid Single Subject Credential must be attached to your application. Applications submitted without the required credential documentation will be screened out and will not be considered for employment.
