Job Summary

The Wellness Counselor will play a crucial role in promoting a positive and healthy school environment. Work collaboratively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators to address the diverse needs of our student population. The primary focus will be on providing counseling services to support students in navigating personal, social, and academic challenges.

Requirements / Qualifications

- Have Masters degree in School Counseling, Counseling Psychology, or a related field highly desirable. -Clinical licensure or experience working in a school setting is highly desirable. -Pupil Personnel Services Credential (or eligibility for California licensure) required. -Strong interpersonal and communication skills. -Ability to relate to and connect with diverse student populations. -Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency preferred. -Must possess and maintain a valid California Driver’s License. -Perform other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the position. Licenses and Certificates -Must have and maintain a valid California driver’s license. If using a personal vehicle in the course of employment, must have proof of liability insurance required by law. DMV Driver record printout.
