Job Summary
The School Psychologist is responsible for supporting students in the Special Education program through psychological assessment, counseling, consultation, and behavioral services. The School Psychologist is responsible for conducting appropriate evaluations to determine student eligibility and placement, leading and supporting Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and implementation, developing and overseeing behavior intervention plans, and providing direct and consultative counseling. This position supports and upholds the mission and vision of The Classical Academies. The Classical Academies is an organization of award-winning, tuition-free, California Public Charter Schools serving North San Diego County since 1999. With over 5,500 students in grades TK-12, the schools are making a tremendous impact as they reinvent public education.
