Requirements / Qualifications
Experience and/or Education: * High School Diploma or the equivalent; * Two years of responsible office/clerical experience, or * Combination of education and experience; * Skill in operating a personal computer, fax machine and other office equipment are necessary. * Bilingual in Spanish highly desirable. * Experience and/or completed coursework in first aid and/or in the healthcare field is preferred. * Licenses in the field of medical assistance (CNA, LVN, other) desirable.

The Child Welfare & Attendance/Health Clerk involves managing student attendance, taking care of student health services, and acting as a vital link between the school office and parents.
When it comes to attendance, you'll be in charge of tracking and maintaining student attendance records. You'll also make sure all attendance processes meet district, state, and federal requirements, including notifying parents when necessary. Additionally, you will work closely with the school nurse and Health Services team in the implementation of school-wide policies, procedures, communication and reporting of all health related services.
