Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Director of AmeriCorps, the Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Support Coach develops, implements, and evaluates an SEL support program that prepares AmeriCorps members to provide Tier 2 SEL interventions and supports to small groups and individual students.

Requirements / Qualifications

1. Master’s degree in School Counseling and CA PPS Credential, required. 2. Bilingual/Biliterate in English and Spanish, preferred. 3. Possess and maintain a valid CA Driver's license. Driving record must satisfy school insurance requirements, as well as district, state and other requirements for driver safety. 4. Submit to and clear pre-employment drug screening and CA DOJ background screening. 5. Proof of freedom from active tuberculosis at time of employment and as required thereafter. 6. Verify completion of Child Abuse Mandated Reporter Training, Sexual Harassment Prevention Training, and other required training within six (6) weeks of hire and annually thereafter as required by law and District and Board Policy and Administrative Regulations.
