Responsibilities
- Design and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic childhood development.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that encourage cooperation and respect.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to monitor each child's progress, utilizing standardized testing and assessment tools to tailor instruction accordingly.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, ensuring adherence to child welfare standards and daycare regulations.
- Lead activities that develop motor skills, literacy, numeracy (including math), and physical education to foster well-rounded growth in preschoolers.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in preschool settings or daycare environments is highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development stages, and classroom management techniques.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education or literacy education.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and students' families.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and developmental needs of young children.
