Job Summary
The Oroville Union High School District is accepting applications for our Certificated Substitute Teacher Pool. This is a continuous posting, and applications are accepted year-round. Onboarding will occur as substitute needs arise throughout the school year. Applicants must attach a valid California Teaching Credential or 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit to their application. Applications submitted without a valid credential or permit will not be accepted. Please note that submission of an application does not guarantee placement in the substitute pool or onboarding. Candidates will be contacted as the district’s substitute needs arise. Substitute teachers provide classroom instruction and supervision in the absence of the regular teacher, following lesson plans and maintaining a positive, supportive learning environment.

A valid California Teaching Credential or a 30-Day Emergency Substitute Teaching Permit is required. Please ensure a copy of your credential or permit is attached to your application. Applications submitted without the required documentation will not be considered for placement in the substitute pool.
