Job Title: Substitute Custodian
Location: Oroville Union High School District
Hourly Rate: $20.58/hour 
Schedule: On-call/as-needed, evening shifts (3:30 PM – 11:30 PM)

Job Summary:
OUHSD is hiring Substitute Custodians to help maintain clean, safe, and welcoming school facilities. Under general supervision, substitute custodians perform a variety of cleaning and basic maintenance tasks across district schools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean classrooms, offices, restrooms, and hallways

• Sweep, mop, wax floors, and vacuum carpets

• Wash windows, walls, and sanitize restrooms

• Lock and unlock doors as needed

• Set up and take down equipment for school events

• Report maintenance or safety issues

• Perform summer deep-cleaning projects

• May assist with minor facility repairs

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED

• 1 year of custodial or maintenance experience preferred

• Valid CA Driver’s License required

• Ability to lift and perform physical labor

• Must pass fingerprint clearance, drug screening, TB test, and physical exam (all provided by district)
