Candidates should possess a strong foundation in early childhood development theory, evidence-based instructional practices, and adult learning (andragogical) principles. They should demonstrate the ability to build collaborative relationships and effectively support and strengthen parenting skills through engaging lesson activities. A thorough understanding of child development and parenting strategies for children ages 12-18 months and 3–5 years is essential, including the ability to guide families through key developmental transitions. Candidates should also have experience managing classroom environments, implementing school procedures, and collaborating with school personnel and administrators to ensure compliance with organizational policies and educational standards.
