REQUIRED: -Holds at least 24 units in early childhood education, or childhood development, or both (no school-age coursework). -As determined by the Local Education Agency (LEA) employing the teacher, professional experience in a classroom setting with preschool age children that is comparable to the 24 units in early childhood education,or childhood development, or both. -A child development teacher permit or higher issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC). EDUCATION: Possession of a bachelor's or higher degree from an accredited college or university. Possession of or qualification for a California Multiple Subject Credential. Intern-eligible candidates are encouraged to apply! Short Term Staff permits are available through the CTC (Commission on Teacher Credentialing) EXPERIENCE: Successful instructional experience in a regular or special education classroom SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful applicant will be required to pass a complete California DOJ/ FBI Fingerprint Clearance and T.B. test REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
