Naytahwaush Community Charter School is located in the beautiful lakes area north of Detroit Lakes and South East of Bemidji. We are a community school with a focus on the whole child and integrating culture into learning. Duties: – Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards – Provide individualized instruction to meet the diverse needs of students – Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning – Utilize effective classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior – Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support academic growth – Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to ensure student success – Incorporate technology and other resources to enhance learning experiences – Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching practices Qualifications: – Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred) – Valid teaching certification/license – Proven experience in mentoring and supporting students with special education needs – Strong writing skills for developing lesson plans, assessments, and reports – Experience in tutoring or providing additional academic support – Proficiency in classroom management techniques – Knowledge of math, literacy education, and standardized testing practices – Familiarity with library services and resources for educational enrichment – Passion for working with children and promoting their holistic development Join our team and make a difference in the lives of elementary school students.
