Occupational Therapist (25% position) at San Lorenzo Valley Unified
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Under the general direction of the Director of Special Education, provides educationally related Occupational Therapy Services to students with various disabilities, according to the students’ Individualized Education Program (IEP); provides assessment, consultation and direct Occupational Therapy to students within education, developmental and functional parameters; develops and implements individual and/or group Occupational Therapy Intervention Plans, perform related duties as assigned. Some Duties Include: Inform students and families about Medi-Cal Services, how to access and use the systems, and link potentially eligible families and students to the Medi-Cal system for eligibility and to arrange services. Perform administrative tasks and activities related to the MAA claiming process. Education and Experience: Must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited four year college or university and have a valid license of proficiency in Occupational Therapy Services issued by the California Board of Occupational Therapy. Licenses and Other Requirements: A valid Class C California Driver’s License and evidence of appropriate insurance may be required in addition to a valid First Aid and CPR Certification. (Driving to District school locations is required.) Proof of registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association.
