Job Summary
Under the direction of the Principal, assist a certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of students with special learning needs in a general education and/or special education classroom environment; assist in the preparation of instructional materials and implementation of lesson plans; assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEP) for assigned students; perform routine clerical and supportive tasks for instructional personnel.
Requirements / Qualifications
In addition to the documents below, information for three Professional References must be provided. Professional References MUST be people who worked as your Supervisor, Manager, or HR Personnel. Professional References CANNOT be friends, family, family friends, or coworkers. Some experience working with children in an organized setting also required.
- Certification (Transcripts showing completion of an AA degree OR 48 completed semester college units OR a copy of a passing certification for the Para Educator Exam.)
- Driver's License Copy (Driver's License or CA ID Card)
- Letter of Introduction
- Proof of HS Graduation (Proof of High School graduation or GED)
- Resume
