Work Schedule M-F 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with a 30 minute lunch break. Must be able to obtain a Bus license 6 months from hire date.
Requirements / Qualifications
•High School Diploma or equivalent. •Valid California Driver's License. •Obtain a California School Bus Drivers Certificate within 6 months of hire date and be able to maintain it. •Completion of a recognized apprentice-training program or at least four years of experience as an assistant during which the individual had the opportunity to acquire and the ability to demonstrate the possession of all required skills, knowledge and abilities necessary to perform journeyperson on maintenance work.
•Four (4) years of skilled maintenance or construction work in at least one of the following trades: electrical, plumbing, welding, HVAC or carpentry •Demonstrate Journeyperson level trade knowledge and skills within assigned specialty (i.e. HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Low Voltage, Locksmith, Carpentry, Mechanic, Painting). •Perform journey-level carpentry work, perform preventive maintenance, maintain and repair tasks in one or more of the maintenance trade areas.
