Job Summary
Under direction of the site administrator, teach and instruct pupils in grades 7 through 12 in secondary academic subject matter, social, behavioral, and other educational skill areas; to plan, develop, organize and conduct a comprehensive educational program for secondary level pupils; to assist upper secondary level pupils in making appropriate lifestyle adjustments, and in the determination of career and vocational choices; and to do other related functions as required
Requirements / Qualifications
Education, Experience, Licenses, and Other Requirements: * Possess or be eligible to obtain a valid California Designated Subjects Career Technical Education (CTE) Teaching Credential based upon current eligibility requirements as outlined by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) authorizing teaching in Information and Communication Technologies; or Single Subject: Business; Mathematics; Industrial and Technology Education Specific Supplementary Auth: Computer Science; Business; Industrial and Technology Education *Must possess or be able to obtain an EL authorization. * Possess a baccalaureate or higher degree with emphasis in an academic major or minor subject matter in the related field aligned to the industry sector, preferred. *Employment eligibility to include fingerprints, health (TB) and/or other employment clearance; and *Must have a valid California driver’s license
