A teacher is a credentialed employee who under the direction of the site administrator or his/her designee, conducts in accordance with District policies and regulation, an educational program in a classroom, and elsewhere as assigned, for the purpose of providing an atmosphere wherein learning may take place on the part of students assigned and is responsible to administration for maintaining acceptable behavior of students.
