Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Villa Esperanza Services, a non-public school serving students with developmental and intellectual disabilities. This role offers the opportunity to provide direct services as well as SLPA supervision on site in both clinic and school-based models. Key Responsibilities: •Provide direct assessment, treatment, and consultation for school-based and clinic-based clients •Supervise up to two Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) (not required for CF candidates) •Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans •Complete IEP documentation and submit reports to insurance companies, regional centers, and private payers •Collaborate with the speech team to plan and participate in school events, including weekly classroom social groups, vocational activities, school-wide events, and staff training Position Benefits: •Low Caseload: Ensures ample time for parent communication, SLPA supervision, therapy planning, and documentation •Diverse Work Settings: Opportunity to work in both school and clinic environments •Professional Development: On-the-job training in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) if needed and reimbursement for licensure and some CEUs •Supportive Environment: Weekly meetings with the speech department, administrative support for scheduling, and access to a wide range of clinical materials •Flexible Hours: Option for additional hours during school breaks •CPR and First Aid training Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (32 hours per week) Location: 2116 E. Requirements / Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. - Current California license as a Speech-Language Pathologist. - ASHA Certification. - Minimum of two years of full-time experience as a licensed or credentialed SLP to meet eligibility for SLPA supervision/Strong CF candidates considered. - Two letters of reference dated within the past 12 months. - Satisfactorily pass a background fingerprinting clearance from DOJ/FBI Community Care Licensing/Dept. of Social Services. - Satisfactorily complete a physical & TB screening. - CPR and First Aid training (available after hire)
