Position: Mental Health Intern Location: Openings across HTH's four campuses Number of Open Positions: 3-5 Reports To: School Director/Mental Health Supervisor FLSA Classification: Non-exempt Full Time/Part Time Status: Part Time, hourly 25-30 hours a week. Regular/Temporary: Regular Salary: Unrp Hourly, Step 3, Range: $28.45-34.69 Application Opening: 06/12/2026 Application Closing: 07/31/2026 The School-based Mental Health Intern will provide well-rounded counseling services to students, and assist in developing treatment plans based on their needs, while ensuring the effectiveness and reevaluation of the plans.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Masters Degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Social Work, Clinical Counseling or Marriage and Family Counseling and be working towards LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT Licensure - Possess valid California license as an Associate Social Worker (ASW), Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), or proof of application and receipt of Associate license within 90 days of hire date - Possession of, or working toward, a California Pupil Personnel Services credential desired - Experience working in a California School District or educational setting desired - Experience working with at-risk or special education students desired - Bilingual desired
