Sacred Heart School is seeking a dedicated, organized, and enthusiastic elementary teacher to lead a multi-age 3rd/4th grade classroom. The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing, engaging, and well-structured learning environment while supporting each student’s academic achievement, social-emotional development, and spiritual formation in the Catholic tradition. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with the school’s mission, Catholic values, and academic standards. Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that nurtures students’ academic, social-emotional, and spiritual development. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students and promote academic success. Integrate Catholic teachings and faith formation into daily lessons, classroom culture, and student interactions. Monitor student growth through ongoing assessment, observation, and feedback, using data to inform instruction. Maintain regular, collaborative communication with parents regarding student progress, classroom activities, and school initiatives. Work closely with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to foster a collaborative and supportive learning community. Participate actively in school Masses, prayer services, religious celebrations, faculty meetings, and other school events. Pursue professional growth opportunities while contributing to the continuous improvement and mission of the school. Model professionalism by adhering to school policies, maintaining high ethical standards, and supporting the values of the Catholic educational community. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s and/or Teaching Credential in progress is acceptable. Practicing Catholic. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Catholic or faith-based school setting.
