Job Summary
Directly responsible to the Director of Nutrition Services and working with guidance from the Lead Cook, performs duties related to cooking, baking, and assisting in food preparation, service and clean-up in order to support a safe and orderly environment for students and staff. Performs other related work as directed. Job Opening #1 Green Tree East (4 hours/day, 206 days/year) M-Th 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM; Fri 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM Job Opening #2 Del Rey (4 hours/day, 206 days/year) M-Th 9:20 AM - 1:20 PM; Fri 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM Job Opening #3 Nutrition Services (3.5 hours/day, 206 days/year) This position will be assigned to the Nutrition Services Department. The specific work site and schedule to be determined by the superviosr. Job Opening #4 Liberty (2 hours/day, 204 days/year) M-Fri 7:15 AM - 9:15 AM Job Opening #5 Mojave Vista (2 hours/day, 204 days/year) M-Fri 7:15 AM - 9:15 AM
Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS: A valid Food Handler's Card is required before starting work. EXPERIENCE: One year of paid experience in large quantity food preparation EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent
