Requirements / Qualifications

- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificates issued in conformance with the American Red Cross recommendations and guidelines for CPR, First Aid and emergency care - Valid California Driver's License - High School Diploma or equivalent, or higher - Police Officer Standards and Training (POST) PC 832 Laws of Arrest Certificate - SB 390 School Security Officer Certificate - Pass the Fontana USD Police Services (FUSDPD) District Safety Officer pre-employment physical fitness - Successfully complete the following trainings within four (4) months of hire: - Narcan and pepper spray training - SB 390 School Security training certificate - SB 1626 training - PC 832 training

TESTING: Qualified applicants will be scheduled for testing and notified of the scheduled date via email. - All District Safety Officers must take and pass a physical agility test. The testing will be tentatively scheduled by 7/17/26. The interviews will be tentatively scheduled by 7/26/26.
