Sycamore Creek Community Charter School is seeking compassionate, joyful, and collaborative teachers to join our vibrant faculty as a Grades Teacher. We currently have openings in elementary grades. We are looking for California credentialed teachers who have Waldorf training. We also encourage exceptional educators who are eager to embrace Waldorf pedagogy to apply. Sycamore Creek Community Charter School is a WASC accredited Waldorf inspired Charter school that serves 230 children TK through eighth grade located in Cypress, California. Our school offers a comprehensive Waldorf curriculum that includes Spanish, Mandarin, games, handwork, music, and choir. We have a strong emphasis on the outdoors, arts, and community. We are eagerly looking for like minded individuals to join our teaching team. Education Specialist Responsibilities & Duties Develop and implement curriculum and instructional materials Conduct research to evaluate and improve educational programs Provide professional development and training for educators Assess student performance and educational outcomes Collaborate with teachers and administrators to identify educational needs Integrate technology into the educational process Create and update educational policies and standards Coordinate and participate in educational meetings and workshops Provide support and resources to enhance student learning Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and practices Facilitate communication between school staff, parents, and external stakeholders Monitor compliance with state and federal education regulations Support the implementation of special education programs Education Specialist Qualifications & Skills Master's degree in Education or related field Experience in curriculum development and instructional design Strong background in educational research and assessment Proficiency in using educational technology and software Excellent communication and presentation skill
