Part-Time or Full-Time | In-Person School-Based Position We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team at a public Waldorf charter school. This position offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative, child-centered educational environment that values creativity, nature-based learning, and whole-child development. The SLPA will provide in-person speech-language therapy services to students in grades TK through 8th grade under the direct supervision of a on campus licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Students present with a wide range of communication strengths, challenges, and support needs. Position Details Part-time or full-time opportunities available School-day hours between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. All services are provided in person Caseload includes students in TK–8th grade On-site supervision from a licensed SLP Compensation is dependent upon experience Responsibilities Implement speech and language therapy programs developed by the supervising SLP Provide direct services to students individually and in small groups Collect and maintain accurate therapy data and documentation Collaborate with teachers, educational staff, and families as appropriate Support students in accessing the curriculum and achieving communication goals Participate in team meetings and school-based collaboration as needed Qualifications Current California SLPA license required Experience working with school-aged children preferred Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team Must successfully pass a background check and TB clearance
