OVERVIEW We are seeking Youth Partners to supervise teenage girls during school hours in our mental health program. This includes classroom management, tutoring, advocating for educational and medical needs. RESPONSIBILITIES • Supervise, protect and care for children individually and in groups, according to standards set forth by Community Care Licensing. • Classroom Management. • Tutor clients during their online charter school class time. • Perform required quality assurance checks and document accurately and timely. • Assist each youth in working with a group and in handling individual problems. • Teach youths independent living skills such as food preparation, house cleaning, and laundering. • Provide guidance to assist clients’ in meeting their individual therapeutic goals. • Transport youth and escort them to designated appointments and activities. QUALIFICATIONS • Must have a California Driver’s License and clean driving record. • Must have 3 years of history as a licensed driver. • Must have a related bachelor’s degree. • Must receive and maintain a criminal record clearance as determined by California’s Caregiver Background Check Bureau.
