Castle Rock Union Elementary School District is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and student-focused individual to join our team as a Maintenance, Grounds, Custodial & Bus Driver. This classified position is responsible for maintaining school facilities and grounds, performing custodial and minor maintenance duties, and safely transporting students in accordance with District policies and state regulations. Position Details Position Title: Maintenance, Grounds, Custodial & Bus Driver (Classified) Work Schedule: ? 8 hours per day ? 5 days per week, Monday through Friday ? 40 hours per week Start Date: ? July 1, 2026 (or as soon as filled) Employment Conditions This position follows the District's regular school calendar and is subject to: ? A probationary period for classified employees ? Satisfactory job performance ? Compliance with District policies and procedures ? Applicable provisions of the California Education Code ? Bus Driver: Morning and afternoon bus runs, field trips, etc. (20 passenger bus or 54 passenger bus) Custodian: After school---4 classrooms and bathrooms and hallway.
Requirements / Qualifications
Qualifications Applicants must possess or be able to obtain and maintain all certifications, licenses, and clearances required for school bus operation and employment in a California public school district. Experience in custodial work, groundskeeping, facility maintenance, and student transportation is preferred.
