The Athletic Trainer is responsible for management and implementation of procedures that ensure the prevention, assessment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries among student-athletes. This position is responsible for educating coaches, athletes, and parents on best practices to promote athlete health and safety. The Athletic Trainer must be knowledgeable on current California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) policies and protocols. The position also ensures compliance with applicable regulations, and serves as a liaison between athletes, coaching staff, Athletic Directors, physicians, and families for comprehensive health support. This position supports the mission and vision of The Classical Academies. The Classical Academies is an organization of award-winning, tuition-free, Certified California Public Charter Schools serving North San Diego County since 1999. With over 4,500 students in grades TK-12, the schools are making a tremendous impact as they reinvent public education.
