Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direction of the site administrator, it provides instruction in Arts, Media and Entertainment Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways including digital media arts, photography, graphic design, video production, broadcasting, filmmaking, podcasting, and multimedia communications. Develop and deliver industry-aligned curriculum that prepares students for postsecondary education and careers in the Arts, Media, and Entertainment industry sector through project-based learning, portfolio development, live productions, and authentic industry experiences.

Requirements / Qualifications

Possession of a valid California DSC CTE Arts, Media, & Entertainment Teaching Credential, or other appropriate authorization, Industry experience in media arts, graphic design, photography, video production, broadcasting, journalism, communications, filmmaking, or a related field, Experience utilizing industry-standard media production equipment, software, and technologies, Experience developing and delivering project-based instruction that prepares students for postsecondary education and career pathways, Valid California Driver’s License.
