Requirements / Qualifications

Required: - CPR and 1st Aid Certificate (NO ONLINE CERTIFICATES ACCEPTED. SRCS only accepts American Red Cross, American Heart Association or National Safety Council.) - Coaches Ed. Class- Fundamentals of Coaching - Concussion Certificate - Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate - Heat Illness Certification - Mandated Reporter - School Personnel Certification - Proof of clear TB - 2 letters of Recommendation Desired: Education and Experience - Experience in teaching and coaching the sport at either the middle school, Freshman, Junior Varsity, Varsity and/or college level. - Participation in competitive sports in high school, college or community. - Training in how to teach and coach various sports. - Formal training in child development and/or experience with youth. - Experience in administering athletic programs in similar activities.
