Job Summary
Holy Trinity is looking for a dedicated educator who brings an unwavering commitment to helping every child achieve their God-given potential. This position will teach middle school math, science, and religion across combination classes in grades 5/6 and 7/8. Subject assignments may be adjusted based on the collective strengths of our instructional team. The primary responsibilities include - Preparing and implementing rigorous lesson plans that are differentiated to meet the learning needs of all students. - Creating and maintaining a learning environment where every child feels safe, loved, and inspired to learn and grow. - Supporting a school culture focused on faith, academic achievement, and virtue formation. Holy Trinity teachers must possess a commitment to partner with families, a dedication to serve all students, and a desire to seek and implement feedback and grow professionally.
Requirements / Qualifications
- At a minimum, a bachelor’s degree and a desire to help students grow in faith, virtue, and intellect is required. (A teaching license is not required.) - A passion for being part of a team-oriented, mission-driven school culture - Demonstrated success in raising the achievement levels of students - Living as a faith-filled individual, who understands and honors the teachings of the Catholic Church and is passionate about sharing the Catholic faith - The ability to be flexible in a fast-paced school environment that is responsive to students’ needs.

Physical Requirements
To successfully meet the needs of the students in his/her care, the teacher must:
- Spend the majority of the day standing in the classroom. While standing the teacher will frequently hold objects they are working with or demonstrating
- Sit on an occasional basis when developing lesson plans, grading, etc.
- Walk through the classroom and be able to maneuver in tight spaces between desks. Walk on both even and uneven surfaces
- Deal with students while kneeling or squatting, stooping, or bending
- Reach at, below, or above shoulder height with the dominant upper extremity; may require trunk or neck rotation to look back at the class
- Assist in moving children's desks and chairs to change the layout of the classroom to influence the learning situation. It is occasionally necessary to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 25 pounds from the office to classrooms While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to be inside the classroom
The employee is required to be mobile to, from, and within the classroom and preschool environment, as well as maneuver throughout the school facility to attend meetings, trainings, and other work-related events. The employee may be required to conduct trips to, from, and within various city and county-wide locations to attend trainings or workshops, and/or field trips.
