Job Summary
Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Special Education/Pupil Personnel Services, the Occupational Therapist will provide educationally related occupational therapy assessments, services, as well as consultation to students with various disabilities in accordance with the student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 1. Master of Arts/Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited University. 2. Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy accredited by the American Medical Association. 3. Minimum of one year experience in occupational therapy with children with various disabilities. 4. Must have passed the American Occupational Therapy Association Registration examination. 5. A valid Class C California Driver's License and evidence of appropriate insurance may be required. 6. A valid First Aid and CPR certificate. 7. Proof of registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association.
