Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Building Services and/or designee, perform skilled locksmith services with specific responsibility for repair, alteration, installation, and keying of locks. Assists Locksmith II with electronic hardware and software on District buildings, equipment, lockers, and vehicles. Maintain, repair, adjust, and change keyed and combination locks. Performs preventative maintenance on keyed and combination locks, door closures, panic hardware and locksets.

Requirements / Qualifications

In addition, applicants are required by law to complete the Mandatory Employment Disclosure by listing all previous Local Education Agency (LEA) employment, including school districts, county offices of education, charter schools, and state special schools. • High School diploma or GED. • One-year experience as an entry-level locksmith; or one-year as a Maintenance Worker within the District in an area in which the applicant has acquired entry-level skill in this trade.
