Job Summary
The Learning Director provides support to teachers and support staff in order to improve the learning opportunities provided for students who are failing, or at risk of failing to meet, District adopted standards in Mathematics and Language Arts. The Learning Director facilitates professional development activities in order to improve teaching and learning. The Learning Director coordinates the site categorical programs, services, interventions, and extended learning opportunities. The Learning Director is funded through Categorical Program funds. PPLICATION REQUIREMENTS: Edjoin Application Resume 3 signed letters of recommendation written within the last 6 months Letter of Introduction Copy of transcripts EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree and completion of Professional Program, including fieldwork. EXPERIENCE: A minimum of five years of successful, full-time teaching experience. LICENSE OR CERTIFICATES: Valid, preliminary, or clear California teaching or service credential authorizing service in elementary (K-6) and/or intermediate (7-8) schools. Master's Degree from an accredited institution preferred. Administrative Services Credential. Valid California Class C Driver's License.
