Job Summary
Position Summary Under the direction of the School Leader or other certificated employee, the Instructional Aide will assist by performing a variety of instructional support duties to individual or small groups of students within the special education setting or regular classroom (both in an in-person classroom setting and virtually). These duties shall be designed to complement the instructional program to maximize the learning opportunity for the inclusion student. The Instructional Aide will also assist in the establishment and implementation of appropriate classroom and school-wide behavior and perform a routine of clerical tasks as assigned. This role is paid over a 12 month period, including scheduled school breaks and summer break. The salary range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00 / hour. This rate, coupled with the additional 60 days of school break pay we offer, results in annualized pay that is, on average, significantly more than our district peers.
