Job Summary

San Joaquin Memorial High School is seeking an AgScience Teacher and FFA Advisor for a replacement in a two person department. This is a recently established, but fast-growing program, with about 130 FFA students in a school of nearly 450 college-prep students. The Ag Science pathway consists of Ag Biology, Ag Zoology/Botany, Ag Chemistry, and Ag Business/Leadership. Teaching assignments will be flexible, based on candidate strengths. Advisor duties are flexible to fit candidate preferences and strengths, and will include CDE and LDE teams, and assisting with the maintenance of an on-campus greenhouse, with aquaponics and hydroponics setups.
