Requirements: * Possess Bachelor's Degree (or higher) **The Commission on Teacher Credentialing can only accept course work and degrees completed at regionally accredited institutions: https://www.ctc.ca.gov/credentials/transcripts/lists/transcripts/regional-accreditation-information Your application will be automatically disqualified if incomplete. Please be sure to complete all sections, including work history. You are welcome to attach a current resume if you wish to highlight any additional information for us to consider. A valid CA 30-day substitute teaching permit or teaching credential is not required to complete this application. If selected to move forward, the District will assist you in submitting your application to the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. More information about the 30-day substitute teaching permit application will be provided at the new hire orientation meeting. Eligible substitutes will receive one bonus based on cumulative days worked in TVUSD during the 2024-2025 school year. At the end of each school year the District will divide each substitute’s total hours worked by 7 hours to determine bonus eligibility. The specific eligibility tiers and bonus amounts are listed below: Days Worked in TVUSD Bonus Criteria Bonus Amount 25%-49% of School Year (45+ Days) $1,000 50%-74% of School Year (90+ Days) $2,000 75%-89% of School Year (135+ Days) $3,000 90%-100% of School Year (162+Day) $4,000 NON-DISCRIMINATION STATEMENT The Temecula Valley Unified School District Governing Board desires to provide a safe school environment that allows all individuals equal access and opportunities in the district's academic and other educational support programs, services, and activities.
