Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, assist a certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of students in a classroom or other learning environment for an assigned special needs program; assist teachers with the preparation of instructional materials; tutor students in assigned subject areas.

DOCUMENTS NEEDED • Edjoin Application MUST BE ESSA COMPLIANT BY HAVING ONE OF THE FOLLOWING: * Associate's degree or *Completion or a minimum of 48 units at an institution of higher education by attaching transcripts or * Paraprofessional Proficiency Certificate: proof of passing a locally approved assessment that measures the ability to assist in instruction. * Examples include the CBEST, ParaPRO, or a District-administered NCLB/ESSA Paraprofessional proficiency exam. * Applicants who meet the minimum requirements but require a Paraprofessional Proficiency Certificate will receive an email invitation to attend a testing session with SCOE. * ATTACH A COPY TO YOUR APPLICATION.
