High School diploma or equivalent AND 48 College Units OR Associate Degree OR passing score on the Para-professional Exam administered by Live Oak Unified School District required. Ability to work harmoniously with general public, administrators, teachers, staff and students. The Afterschool Program Assistant is responsible for supervising students and carrying out the lessons and activities while providing a safe and consistent learning environment for students. They are a role model, teacher, and coach to students. Afterschool Program Assistants should strive to motivate, inspire, and support students.
