The Lawndale Elementary School District has 2 openings for Preschool Teacher. This position is a 10-month position that accumulates one paid vacation and sick day per month of employment. LESD provides a $1,000 per year career enrichment program for employees. Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION / CREDENTIALS: • AA Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. **Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred) • Possess or be eligible for a Child Development Site Supervisor Permit - You may check the CTC website for the requirements of eligibility. The positions available are: Billy Mitchell Elementary School 40 hrs/week Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4:00PM (BENEFIT ELIGIBLE) 20 hrs/week Monday-Friday 7:30AM-11:30AM
REQUIRED ATTACHMENTS : • AA Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. • Possession of a valid California Drivers’ License • Proof of Immunization Verification (Senate Bill 792): Required immunizations; Pertussis, Whooping Cough, Measles and Influenza (flu) • Proof of TB Clearance • VALID CPR/First Aide Certification
