Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the general supervision of the Director of Student Educational Services, or assigned designee, and under the direction of the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), assist in providing speech and language support services to students with communication disorders in accordance with federal, state, and district requirements.

Requirements / Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent. • Experience supporting students with special needs preferred. • Pass a district proficiency exam. • Valid California Driver's license or Valid ID. • Speech-Language Pathology Aide registration (or ability to submit application to the California Department of Consumer Affairs within 30 days of hire).

Current LVUSD employees may submit an application via www.edjoin.org or submit a Classified Job Interest Form to the District Office no later than June 19, 2026, at 4:00 pm (PST). *Internal Job Interest Forms can be placed in the District mailbox located in front of the District Office if staff is not present to accept it in person.
