Job Summary
Job Summary
The job of Program Coordinator II is done for the purpose/s of supporting the Napa County Office of Education (NCOE) programs with a focus on recruiting staff and volunteers. Key responsibilities include ensuring the expanded learning program is implemented successfully at all partnering school sites and districts, addressing personnel matters, supervising personnel, ensuring program compliance, and providing direction and guidance to ensure effective program implementation, coordinating meetings, developing training and program materials, maintaining website/social media content, compiling and analyzing data. This role provides regular support at school sites, and acts as the Site Coordinator when required
Requirements / Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in job-related area with an emphasis in education
• Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is required in grant-funded nonprofit program coordinator, managing large-scale activities, sub-contracting, or related field.
• Regularly visits sites for the purpose of maintaining communication, mitigating issues, identifying and responding to technical assistance needs or questions, coaching, and building partner site relationships.
• Develops and leads meetings, trainings, events, and serves on committees (e.g. manage logistics; participates in local, national and statewide team meetings, volunteer trainings, etc.) for the purpose of representing NCOE; developing and supporting programs and services; retaining volunteers and community partners; and, conveying and/or gathering information required to perform functions.
• Participates in and leads meetings, workshops, seminars, professional development (e.g. local, statewide, national, etc.) for the purpose of developing skills, conveying and/or gathering information required to perform functions.
• Provides technical guidance to site supervisors (e.g. training tools, member issues/disputes, exits, etc.) for the purpose of enhancing staff skills, providing software access, and resolving issues or obtaining appropriate technical support.
• Develops and analyzes program content and materials for the purpose of ensuring program components and grant goals are aligned to be effective, provide for students' needs, and are sustainable.
• Recruits, trains, and supports collaborative partnerships (e.g. partner/regional sites, supervising organizations, etc.) for the purpose of building capacity to address student and community needs, site activities, and fundraising events.
