Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent of Education Services, plans, coordinates, directs, and evaluates Alternative Education schools and programs and Student Services functions. Responsibilities include oversight of continuation education, independent study, Adult Transition, Extended School Year, Summer School, and other extended learning opportunities funded through a variety of sources. The position also provides leadership for student enrollment, student records, child welfare and attendance programs, and related student support services; ensures compliance with state and federal requirements; develops and implements district policies, regulations, and procedures; and supervises and evaluates assigned staff to support equitable student access, engagement, and success.
