Under general supervision, to perform a variety of instructional support duties involved in providing instructional assistance to individuals and small groups of students with limited or non-English speaking skills; to translate for parents and teachers as necessary and to perform a variety of clerical duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
Candidates who provide proof of meeting one of the following criteria will be exempt from taking the Competency Exam: - Completion of 48 or more college units - Possession of a valid California teaching credential - Successful completion of the CBEST If you do not meet any of the above qualifications and have not previously passed the District’s Competency Exam, you will be required to take the exam. A study guide is available by contacting the Classified Human Resources office at ahoff@chicousd.org.
