OVERVIEW: Under the direction of the school site principal, the Assistant Principal – Intervention is responsible for assisting teachers and support staff with meeting the needs of students with challenging/severe behaviors. The Assistant Principal will work collaboratively with general education and special education staff in the implementation of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS); provide counseling to students; and is responsible for the implementation of discipline and attendance systems to improve attendance and engagement to support student’s success.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: • Master’s Degree, in Education or closely related field • Valid Administrative Services Credential • Valid California Teaching Credential or Pupil Personnel Services Credential • Three (3) years of successful teaching experience • Three (3) Letters of Recommendation – dated within 1 year • Current Resume
